The Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1906 to preserve and promote Armenian identity, culture, and heritage worldwide. With headquarters in New York City and chapters across the globe, it is the largest Armenian nonprofit in the world, uniting communities through education, culture, humanitarian aid, and development programs.

Purpose

AGBU is dedicated to supporting Armenians everywhere by advancing access to quality education, fostering cultural creativity, providing humanitarian assistance, and strengthening civil society in Armenia and the diaspora. Through its initiatives, AGBU empowers individuals, builds resilient communities, and ensures the vitality of Armenian heritage for future generations.
